Service terms & refunds
MakeLark is operated by Makelark Studio LLC, a Colorado company. We provide custom website and software design, development, updates, and ongoing care by agreement. MakeLark Studio, our website creation and care app, is in development and is not currently available for purchase or subscription.
Scope, pricing & payment
Contact admin@makelark.com for a quote. Each project has a written scope, deliverables, price, payment schedule, and estimated delivery date agreed before work begins. Prices and invoices are in US dollars (USD) unless a written quote explicitly states otherwise. Any applicable taxes and third-party costs are disclosed before you agree to pay. This website has no checkout and does not collect card details.
Digital delivery
We deliver services remotely through agreed website updates, files, or account access. There are no physical goods, shipping charges, or physical returns. Delivery timing is stated in your project agreement and depends on the agreed scope and receipt of needed content, access, and feedback. We will communicate changes to the schedule and agree on changes to scope or price before proceeding.
Cancellations & refunds
You may request cancellation by emailing admin@makelark.com with your project name or invoice number. For project work, you pay for work already completed and any non-cancellable third-party costs you approved. Prepaid amounts for work not performed are refundable after those amounts are accounted for. If we cannot deliver the agreed work, we refund the amount paid for the undelivered portion.
If a delivered item does not match the agreed scope, email us with the details so we can arrange a correction or an appropriate refund for the affected work. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method; processing time depends on the payment provider and your bank. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Ongoing services
Any recurring website care service requires a separate written agreement disclosing the amount, billing interval, included work, and start date before billing begins. You can cancel future renewals by emailing us before the next billing date. Service continues through the paid period unless otherwise agreed. There are no automatically enrolled subscriptions or free trials on this website.
Customer responsibilities & restrictions
You must have permission to use the content and accounts you provide. Ownership, licensing, hosting, and maintenance responsibilities are specified in the project agreement. Services may only be used for lawful purposes and are subject to applicable export-control and sanctions laws. We cannot provide services where prohibited by law.
Support & payment security
For project questions, billing issues, cancellations, or refunds, email admin@makelark.com. Do not send card numbers or other sensitive payment credentials by email. When an invoice offers online payment, use the secure payment page linked from that invoice; it shows the available payment methods. This website is served over HTTPS.
